This is a hybrid course, which means that ordinarily we will have one period in our classroom (on Thursday from 9:30am–10:45am in MO 204) and one period online. Hybrid courses require more online interaction and self-governance than standard sections.</p>

<p>The course flows through this website, so it is crucial that you thoroughly familiarize yourself with it. Because much of your work will be independent, you should pay particular attention to the <a href="https://sites.google.com/site/fa16eng204004/calendar">Calendar</a> page, as it articulates the schedule of activities and provides links to corresponding materials. Additionally, the <a href="https://sites.google.com/site/fa16eng204004/home">Home</a> page collects updates and news that you should know, the <a href="https://sites.google.com/site/fa16eng204004/syllabus">Syllabus</a> page describes course policies, and the <a href="https://sites.google.com/site/fa16eng204004/assignments">Assignments</a> page contains information about course projects and ancillary work.</p>

<p>Again, welcome to the course! I hope you find it challenging and rewarding. If you have any questions, feel free to email me through <a href="mailto:tirrellj@uncw.edu">tirrellj@uncw.edu</a>.</p></div></td></tr></tbody></table></div></content><link rel="http://schemas.google.com/sites/2008#parent" type="application/atom+xml" href="https://sites.google.com/feeds/content/site/fa16eng204004/6405064724623806743" /><link rel="alternate" type="text/html" href="https://sites.google.com/site/fa16eng204004/home/untitledpost" /><link rel="http://schemas.google.com/sites/2008#revision" type="application/atom+xml" href="https://sites.google.com/feeds/revision/site/fa16eng204004/4887216903472190878" /><link rel="self" type="application/atom+xml" href="https://sites.google.com/feeds/content/site/fa16eng204004/4887216903472190878" /><link rel="edit" type="application/atom+xml" href="https://sites.google.com/feeds/content/site/fa16eng204004/4887216903472190878" /><author><name>J.
