Semester Project Overview

The primary goal of ENG 575 is to improve your science writing ability. To achieve this, you will work with a single topic of your choice all semester, identifying it, developing it, and writing about it for fellow scholars and the public. This semester project comprises all major assignments for the course:

• Literature Review
• Audience Analysis
• Method Design
• Research Paper
• Presentation
• Public Communication

The options for possible topics are broad, encompassing technological, medical, and environmental subjects. You may select projects or papers you have already started or written. If you choose to work with existing material, you must disclose this to the instructor, and you must develop it significantly.
